Second Annual Benefit Concert
In 2007, we raised money for the orphaned babies in Kenya, East Africa. Thank You so much for making the first Annual “Save Our Babies” concert a success! We’re at it again folks with our Second Annual “Save Our Babies” benefit concert which will be Saturday, March 15th 2008 at the Arts Council Theatre in Winston-Salem, NC.
This year our project is to rebuild the school in the remote village of Zanbougou in Mali, West Africa. We visited Mali in June 2007 with Master Drummer Abdoul Doumbia from Mali. While we were there, we visited Zanbougou, where we met some very nice people. We asked the elders “What can we do for you?”, and they said “Help us rebuild the school for our children”. The school was in very bad condition and unfit. The roof was caving in, there was little or no furniture in the school. They had to shut the entire school down. Only the skeleton remains.
So our campaign starts now to raise money for the babies. Help us to give the tremendous gift of education to the next generation. We are strong believers in a quality education for all children.
We have to raise $10,000 to rebuild the school. Here’s how you can help. You can make a donation right now on PayPal, or you can purchase one of our three music CD’s on the products page, you can send your charitable tax-deductible donation to us through the mail by check or money order, or you can attend the benefit concert in March. The children also need supplies for the school like:
Notebooks
Notebook Paper
Pencils
Crayons
Pens
Markers
We will send those in big boxes to Zanbougou.
We will have more information about the concert as the time gets closer.
